I just hope they don't have an all-England QF draw (Chel$ea v. Arsenal, Liverpool v. ManUtd), or likewise, an England v. Europe-type draw. That would look suspicious and give rise to griping from all sides.

Competition-wise, I'd probably want to draw Fenerbache. But then again, those Turkish fans are BATSHIT. Makes Schalke a lot more attractive as a potential opponent, I guess.

And what is up with the Bundesliga, anyway? I'm a babe in the soccer woods, but it seems that just a couple of years ago the Bundesliga was to be feared. I know Bayern got old (like AC Milan) and faded quickly. Aside from that, I don't know much about the league and its overall lack of "presence" here.

Don't want to get within 10-foot-pole distance of Barca, even without Messi.

Yeah, Fenerbache away will not be fun for whomever get it. I know a Turk very well and she tells me that for as much hype as the Galatasary fans get in the Brit/US media, that the Fenerbache fans make them look like effete fairies in comparison. She said Fenerbache fans are the craziest by far, then Beskitas, then Galatasary, which is pretty crazy to think about just knowing what I know and seeing what I have seen from the GS fans.

I think everyone wants Schalke, and I's love Liverpool cause I just don't think they're that good, but as we have discussed I think what I want is EPL Liverpool, not CL Liverpool.

I think the team I would least want is ManUtd and Barca, although Barca on paper and Barca in reality have been two different things at times this year. If Messi was healthy, then hell yeah break out the 10 foot pole.

But fuck it, at the end of the day you are going to have to beat big clubs to win this competition, so whomever it is bring em on I say.

We'll just have to wait until Friday to see what's what.
