OK, Lionel, now you're just getting ridiculous.
Remember earlier this season when young Lionel Messi damn near replicated his countryman Diego Maradona's 2nd most famous goal {and the one most voted the greatest goal ever}? It was so similar that is was downright eerie.
Well damn if he didn't do it again today, when he replicated Maradon'a most famous, and infamous goal, which is most probably the most infamous and controversial goal ever scored {note also that both of Maradona's goals came in the very same match, a 1986 World Cup quarterfinal against England}.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you, The Hand Of God Part II:
El Mano Del Dios, Messi remix
For those not in the know, here's THE Hand Of God Goal:
El Mano Del Dios, edicion original
Again eerie, both the goal itself, and the fact that it fooled the referees but not the players. Even more eerie is that Messi scored Barca's 2nd goal, so just like Diego against England, it looked like he was going to lead his team to a controversial win in the penultimate game of the season with the league title on the line. But then at the end an amazing twist in the tale. More on that in a bit...
