You Heard It Here First

"Mythical" National Championship Game:

#1 Ohio State v. #2 Arkansas

Ohio State beats Michigan
Cal beats SC
SC beats Notre Dame
West Virginia beats Rutgers (this might not even be necessary, but I think it will happen)
Arkansas beats MSU, LSU, and the Gators.

There you have it.

You are right on it my brotha. I've been say this for a long time. There were little or no upsets at the begining of the season, now they are going to start comming like a blizzard. I love Arkansas. I think they are the sleeping bear. How are the red stripes doing? Is Kanu light scoring?

Red Stripes won 2-1 yesterday. I think we are now 3-1 on the year. Kanu light hasn't scored in 2 weeks, but scoring is not his thing. He's a much better passer than scorer, so he mainly tries to setup the 2 good strikers/finishers on the team.

The real Kanu is 2nd in the EPL in scoring with 7 goals thusfar.

I don't think that the SC game is as much of a gimmee for Cal as people would have you believe. It's a toss-up.

(Now watch the damn thing will be a blow out...)

I don't think it will be a blowout by any means. I think it will be close, but I think Cal will find a way to get it done.

Then I think SC will absolutely annihilate Notre Dame.

We'll find out soon enough...

I've been mulling over which of the next three games I could cope with SC losing. Even though it would cost us the Rose Bowl, I'd be inclined to pick Cal... because beating ND keeps them out of the National Championship, which is a public service, and matching UCLA's 8 game win streak is critical.

Obviously I'd prefer to see SC win all three...
